Comfort Inn Escondido San Diego North County

My husband & I were staying at the Comfort Inn for our grandson's hockey tournament,we were at games all day,I called the Comfort Inn to tell them we were'nt checking in until after 6 pm,I was going to pay in cash,please don't give our room away,we get there,the system automatically charged us on our credit card for the first night,I paid cash for the second night,I was livid,i did'nt want my credit card to be charged,they gave us no discount.I Will not be going back to the Comfort Inn,EVER

Exceptionally comfortable beds and central heating, multi-channel TV and a microwave oven.

I was put in a room that had bed bugs and it was by a noisy ice machine on the second floor. Everyone had to use this ice machine because the machine on the first and third floor did not work. So, you can imagine how noisy it was because everyone had to use the ice machine on the second floor by my room. I didn't get good sleep because of the noise and something biting me in my bed. There was also hair in my bed. I asked the lady at the front for some new sheets, she gave me a look like she didn't want to get them for me. After a long period of time she finally brought them. I should have saved my money and slept in my car. It would have been more comfortable and with less noise!!! Oh, I forgot to mention that the elevator was broke also, so I had to carry my bags up the stairs. I will not stay at this Comfort Inn in Escondido, CA again. In fact, I'm never setting foot in another Comfort Inn. It's everything but comfort. You should think about renaming your hotel "The Hell Hole Inn" it would be more conducive to the atmosphere and environment that you have around there. FYI, I will be informing my friends, family, and colleagues not to go here either. I'm sure you don't care about what I'm saying and you consider me a small "drop in the bucket", but you will never get my money again!!! I'll just shell out more money next time and got to the Hilton, at least they have clean rooms and I can get a good nights rest without noise and critters biting me.

Enjoyed the breakfast variety and attentive staff.

For such a nice place a bigger pool would be ideal.

Close to the stone brewery.

Elevator was like a seizure box- small and lights flickering terrible. Room smelled heavily of cleaner, but not fresh. Comp. breakfast ends at 9!! (Too early)

Adequate, away from the main traffic. Easy to find.

Bathroom area wasn't as clean as it could have been. There was a black substance (mold) in areas. It didn't look to be actively growing. It possible it was treated and not thoroughly cleaned.

The staff was friendly. I also liked the location. It was near the freeway, food places and shopping stores.

I did not like The old looking room/hotel and the dry blood on the bed sheet and pillow cases.

The pool was lovely, but the hot tub was out of order.

The property was nice. It was kind of hstd to find in the area it was in. I originally had one room and switched to another, to give my friends a room. The staff was wonderful. The 2nd room I leased and stayed in in, I believe had bed bugs.

Cleanliness, bed bugs. I was bit in a pattern that Dr's identified as bed bugs.

Ice machine broken all week, meldew and fan blowing in hallway all week, no air conditioning in hallways

We like the layout of the bathroom and vanity for coffee making. A/C worked well. Our room was changed because the tv connection was limited in first room.

When we arrived they said there was no longer a reservation for us. Nothing was showing up. After showing our confirmation letter they found a room for us. Later I showed them the email you sent a week before. Since this was a holiday weekend I'm glad they had a room. You should look into why this happened! The breakfast room was overflowing with young kids on a sports team Saturday morning and we found it hard to get in to find something to eat or a seat so we didn't eat. If they had a special room for either us or them it would be much better.

Comfy location, overall I really enjoyed the hotel.

everything was perfectly fine at this hotel, very professional staff. i had well-kept room here with freezer as well as microwave. the breakfast was hot, the check in was easy. furthermore, venue's free parking was nearby.

The location was perfect! Great shopping and dining all around.

The shower went from hot to cold hot to cold. Our AC didn't work half the time and the ice machines on 2 of the 3 floors didn't work! And my car got hit the first night, when I asked if they had cameras in the front parking lot, they said no, only the back parking lot.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the complimentary breakfast offered a variety from waffles to eggs, made mornings hassle-free for us while we enjoyed the convenient access to nearby attractions and free parking.

Limited channels on the tv with no tv guide except for showtime. One channel had no sound and some went blank at night
